Old projects

Here are just a couple of old projects that deserve to be shown.




This is a pair of flip flops I made for my daughter. I used placemats for the base, which are glued together, and some fancy rick rack for the strap with some shoe lace for inbetween her toes. I also used some padded fabric for the top of the soles and ironed on a image of Strawberry Shortcake for her. I had so much fun creating these for her and can't wait to make some for myself. I think that I will need a lot of placemats for mine though.











This is a project I tried from Martha Stewart. It is a bag made from a pillowcase. It took way longer than I thought it would and it included ironing, which I hate. It looks great though. :)
